Ace Iơst one of his eyes due to illness shortly after being rеscuеd as a stray kitten. Ace’s outer look has caused him to be misunderstood by some new people he encounters, despite the fact that it has never slowed him down or decreased his love for life.
Ace’s owner, Norma Maikovich, told The Dodo, “He may sometimes look menacing, especially to youngsters.” “A lot of people are afraid to greet him.”
But, as Maikovich quickly discovered, this isn’t the case for everyone.
Because Ace typically spends his days relaxing on the front porch, Maikovich installed a home security camera to keep an eye on him. She had no idea the amazing friendship that the camera would capture blooming.
“We observed one particular youngster visits practically every single day when we looked at the film,” Maikovich added.
Ace clearly enjoys a young neighbor who has made a habit of popping over to spend time with the “scary” cat. Here’s a video from one of these visits:
Maikovich and her family were touched to know that Ace had made a friend who sees him for who he truly is.
“It melted our hearts, not just seeing how much Ace loves this boy, but how familiar they were to each other!” she said. “Sitting by the front door, as soon as Ace sees his friend, he rushes out to greet him. It’s awesome, this bond they sharе.”
Just in case the boy felt he had to be sneaky in his visits, Maikovich has since informed him that he is welcome any time.
“A friend of Ace’s is a friend of ours,” she said. “Once we realized that they were fast friends, it made us really happy.”
Ace, certainly, is happy, too.
