They were scared and cuddled close to one other for protection. The woman searched the area for the mother cat and other kittens but couldn’t find them. She couldn’t just leave the kittens to their destiny, so she took them in her arms and began looking for rеscuе.

Alison, an animal enthusiast, answered her pleas and brought the hungry kittens home to begin feeding through the nipple.

She immediately called Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a local animal rights organization that could provide the kittens with the attention they required and help them find permanent homes.

Sylvester (the dark gray boy with the most luxurious fur) and Effy (the girl) were around three weeks old at the time. Both are little more than skin and bones. They clutched one other tightly as though the separation was terrible. Alison did not sleep for several nights, caring for and feeding the crumbs; her meticulous efforts successfully restored the kittens’ health.

“Alison made sure that the kittens were progressively gaining weight every day before bringing them to our rеscuеrs,” explains Celine Krom of Chatons Orphelins Montréal.

Lovely kids loosened up, tried adult food, got accustomed to the tray and even climbed a cat tree. They do everything together. “Both have settled down very well indoors. When we took them, already 6 weeks old, they were a little puffy.

Brother and sister are surprisingly attached to each other.

They explore new areas or play with unusual toys just the two of them, and their mutual support is unrivaled. Any new experience is split in half amongst the best friends.

Sleep time for these kitties is always a private affair, as they gently touch one other.

Effy comes running when Sylvester fawns over folks and requests the same.

“They are loving and nice. “They likе to trail a person around the room and play together all the time – dash around the room, climb a cat tree,” Selin says.

Effy is still a sissy and loves to be in human hugs. She purrs adorably and does so every time she is stroked.

Sylvester is an easy-going and inquisitive brother, always looking for where to fool around.

“From the outset, the kittens have been quite close. “We frequently see them on top of the cat’s climbing frame, and they are virtually always together,” Celine explains.

“In the tunnel, they prefer to play catch-up or hide and seek.”

The rеscuеrs realized that this full pair of pets should not be separated when it came time to leave the kittens in good hands.

It took some time, but a great family eventually came to meet and fall in love with a fluffy duo.

On the same day, Sylvester and Effy found their forever home – their wish had come true.

A community garden’s kittens have grown into lovely fluffy homebodies.
