When Onion Kitten came to Baby Kitten Rescue (in Los Angeles, California) at the age of 10 days, she was in desperate need of assistance.

“On Thursday evening, she was discovered alone. According to Caroline Grace, founder of Baby Kitten Rescue, the finders waited for the mother cat, but she did not return.

They then attempted to care for a newborn kitten but were unsuccessful. Lukovichka’s health was worsening, and animal rights advocates were required to aid. Caroline hurried her in and started providing her with critical treatment.

The flea-infested infant had a huge scab beneath his right armpit, as well as irritation. “Lukovichka was terribly dehydrated and in excruciating discomfort from gastrointestinal issues.”

Despite all that had happened to her, the youngster was able to recover because to antibiotics, droppers, and nutritional supplements that let her stay alive while her intestines were being repaired.

“Within a few hours, I saw a difference in her condition. Caroline recalls, “She hadn’t mastered the nipple yet, but she ate well at every meal.”

Lukovichka leaned both front paws on her guardian’s palm and even tried to purr after experiencing the first burst of vigor. This small creature possessed the greatest desire to live.
