Helen Richter, a Las Vegas caregiver, learned about the mother cat and her litter of six kittens who were discovered in the neighborhood.
Neighbors discovered two carriers, one with a kitten and the other with two adult cats, most likеly the mother cat’s brothers.
Their owners have moved and left their pets by the roadside. “Thankfully, their neighbors welcomed them in for the night and began phoning everyone who could assist,” Helen explains.
“When one of my friends read the message, he was able to work out a plan to bring the mother cat and kittens to safety, and he sought the help of animal rights.”
Adult cats were rеscuеd by another animal welfare group, and they were vaccinated, neutered, and placed on a waiting list for adơрtion.
Last weekend, Valentina and her kittens were taken into Helen’s care – so the cat has a comfortable place to raise her children, and a lot of delicious food.
Valentina was overwhelmed by everything she had experienced and the first night she stayed in the nest with her children. She was finally able to relax and sleep.
She slept off while stretching. “I didn’t lift my hand to shift her, so I simply sat next to her on the floor and softly chatted to her – she said she didn’t have anything to be concerned about anymore,” Helen explains.
“I believe she finally recognized it at home, where you can’t be terrified.”
Valentina appreciated the cozy nook, plush bedspreads, and endless buffet. She became accustomed to it fast, and once she started purring in the morning, she didn’t stop until the evening.
She is grateful for the nanny’s assistance, and she has already accepted her caress and is down on her knees. The cat comes to Helen whenever it needs a break and spends time with her.
“Considering all that has occurred to her in the last two days, I am still astounded with her kindness,” Helen says.
“When I lie down on the floor next to me, she wants to be closer to me, she longs to be petted,” says Helen. “I tell her how beautiful she is and that we will find her owners who will love and cherish her.”
