With a desire to use their new boat, the family continues to examine and investigate their new acquisition. They are surprised to find two odd hitchhikers in the form of two baby cats inside.

They were so little that they hadn’t even opened their eyes. They were presumably put inside the boat for safety by the mother cat, who had no clue it would be moved. Sadly, she may have returned to discover her nest and her young have vanished.

The family became quickly attached to the newborns but didn’t think they had the skiIIs to care for such young kittens. They took them to a vet who got in touch with someone who could.

The kittens were put in a foster home where they would be cared for by an experienced caregiver.

This sweet lady has a lot of experience caring for kittens who are just born.

These tiny little fur kittens, who hadn’t yet opened their eyes, need round-the-clock care from experts with experience.

When they were old enough and given the go-ahead, the family who had found them was ready to adơрt them.

They’ve gone a long way since they were discovered as stowaways, as you can see!
