Four baby kittens were taken to a shelter by themselves one day. Thankfully, their mother returned to locate them.
Wrenn Rescues co-founder Alissa Smith was first notified about four 10-day-old kittens that needed to be rеscuеd.
“There was barely 15 minutes left, and no one else could take them,” Alissa explained. “Fortunately, the networking group got them out safely, and a lovely woman called CJ brought them all the way out to Ventura County, California to us.”
The four kitties were found in someone’s yard with their mother, but she quickly escaped.
“The kittens were clearly properly cared about by their cat mom.” “When orphaned kittens arrive at the shelter, they frequently don’t see their mom again,” Alissa explained. “Another compelling argument to leave kittens where they are found (and wait for their mother) rather of transporting them to a shelter.”
Until something unexpected happened, Ashley and Jenifer from the shelter were fully prepared to hand-rear the kittens until they were nursed.
The people who dropped off the kittens in the first place went home to find the momma cat looking for her babies.
They were able to catch her and bring her in, and she was reunited with her beloved kittens the very next day.
The mother was initially hesitant and cautious, and she refused to drop her shipping box until Ashley removed one of her children.
“I put a baby in front of her and she calmed down immediately.” “We used it to lure it from the carrier,” Ashley explained. “She immediately approached her babies and leaned in the center of them, rubbing.” Everyone rushed towards her and started breastfeeding.
The mama cat began purring loudly while feeding her tiny furballs shortly after.
Alissa said, “I don’t think we’ve ever seen something so touching.” “It’s incredible that this miracle happened. It’s an understatement to say that the reunion went well.”
“We do everything we can as newborn kitten foster parents to make our fosters happy, comfortable, and pleased.”
“Nothing compares to the delightful experience of having a mom laying with them,” Ashley explained.
“She is a patient mother whose joy at being reunited with her kittens is evident. These are the luckiest and happiest children.”
