The Police Officer Who Saved Them Can’t Get Enough Of The Tiny Kittens

After two Texas police officers completed dealing with a larceny report at a local TJ Maxx store, they were unexpectedly approached by two little kittens who needed assistance. The unfortunate kittens were stranded in the parking lot of the business.

When the officers stepped out the store, they heard tiny meows coming from somewhere underneath the car. They quickly figured out exactly where the kittens were. Joe Bob Adkins, one of the officers carefully reached under the car and gently removed the tiny kittens (around 6 weeks old).

“They found the kittens inside the bumper, where they were most likely deposited for some purpose by the mother cat,” Jesse Minton of the Arlington Police Department told The Dodo. “The car’s owner stated that she did not own a cat and had no idea how the kittens got in.”

As soon as the kittens were safe, Officer Adkins took them back to the police car, trying to make them feel safe and loved. The more time they spent with their new friend Officer Adkins, the more the tiny kittens fell in love with him. They even couldn’t stop cuddling with him and curled up on his chest in the sweetest way.

The officers immediately took the kittens to a vet to check out and luckily, they were in fairly good condition. The kittens were hungry because they’d been under the car in a long time. Therefore, the officers fed them some formula out of a tiny bottle and they were so happy.

Officer Adkins and the two kittens have settled into their new home and are adjusting nicely. Adkins had no intention of bringing home two new family members that day, but he couldn’t resist when they snuggled up to him. He decided to adopt them into his family and rename them ‘TJ’ and ‘Max,’ respectively.
